Fluent UI styled widget gallery

I created this gallery showcasing many widgets in the fluent style. As a new user of Rust and Iced, creating this app helped me to learn a bit of both. It makes use of many of the in-built widgets and creates a few custom widgets, all while using a custom theme.

This was a fun and interesting little project to work on and learn. Check it out and constructive criticism is welcome!

Wow! It’s absolutely mind-blowing. I tried making my own widgets but never managed to do it. But I think there’ll never be any need for that. A whole range of widgets with a modern look under the MIT licence. I can certainly jump into making awesome-looking apps. There’s,iced_aw but they look rather outdated.

I second @EuclidDivisionLemma! This is awesome! I had missed the original post but I’m glad they replied so that I could see it.

Congrats on shipping. It’s really good work. If you’re on Discord, I encourage to join the iced discord and posting this to the #showcase channel where people share their projects for others to use, learn from and provide feedback.

Thanks! It was just experimenting on my part but if people can learn from it or use the widget code in their own I’m just as happy. I didn’t structure it as a library but if there’s enough interest I may consider it and add more widgets. I would first want to make sure that Iced doesn’t break too much in the few versions first though.

I’ll be sure to post on discord.
