I am new to discord (and like most forum software, I don’t really like it), but almost any time I do something I get this (supposided) “helpful” little blue box with some useless bable and a Got It button. I am not a 3-year old and I find thes popups anoying. Is it possible to stop them?
So this here is actually Discourse, not Discord. Unfortunately they are very similarly named.
Discord is like IRC for younger generations… (you can change appearance settings to compact mode to make it more IRC like)
Discourse is this forum software. The blue notification bubbles mostly go away after a while.
If you visit https://discourse.iced.rs/u/robertpheller/preferences/interface you should be able to check Skip new user onboarding tips and badges which might reduce the notification bubbles ever so slightly.
I’m afraid most of them will persist, however, as we live in a world that is increasingly louder.
